Texas Wine and Food Week

5 06 2008

All you Black Iguana fans come to the Texas Wine & Food Festival and stroll through Market Street for the wine walk — Black Iguana will have Frozen Rita samplings this Thursday (June 5)!

The Woodlands is hosting The Texas Wine & Food Week Festival — one of the largest and most comprehensive celebrations of wine and food in the country.

The festival events will be concentrated at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center and Market Street.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of tickets to the various events will go towards the Greater Houston Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. Since its inception in 2005, the Texas Wine and Food Week has donated more than $120,000 to local charities. The team behind the festival is dedicated to improving the quality of life and health of the people of Houston.  In addition, they also wish to educate all wine and food enthusiasts about wine and fine dining with organic ingredients.

Remember, Black Iguana Frozen Ritas are made from 100% Agave wine — very organic!
